Congratulations to the following students for winning the "Unique Visitor Challenge" last week!  These students received the most unique visitors to their redesign Web site project. Each student won lunch from the location of their choice.

The Web Design courses in the IT CHOICE Institute at Niceville High School are very rigorous. Students should look upon these classes, and all IT classes, as a precursor to a career, and treat them as such. We are excited about the programs we offer in the IT CHOICE Institute and encourage students to challenge themselves in our programs.

The IT CHOICE Institute's Web Program has been nationally recognized by the Certified Internet Web Professional Program by doing a Case Study on our program. Mrs. Branscome also won CIW's Step-Up Award for having 100% pass rate, which was the highest in the nation, for her students! In the 2005- 2006 school year, 66 students pass their CIW Associates Certification Exam and in the 2006-2007 school year, 65 students passed their exam.. Read more . . .

We want to make learning a fun experience that will allow students to create professional, well-organized Web sites.  Students will learn how to design Web sites in many different ways.  In all Web classes, students will work in collaborative teams to create Web projects using the skills they learn in the classroom and through their individual research.

Our students will produce Web sites using Dreamweaver 8, Fireworks 8, Flash 8, XHTML, CSS, and other applications as the instructor sees fit.

FBLA

It's time to sign up for Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)! We are accepting applications. It's $15 to join and you have to pay when you turn in your application form. Make your checks payable to Niceville High School. Please place your name in the Memo section of the check.
