Florida Bright Futures Gold Seal Scholarship
Through the Niceville High School IT Institute, students can earn the Florida Bright Futures Gold Seal Scholarship. Students interested in earning the Gold Seal Scholarship must meet the initial eligibility requirements prior to high school graduation from a Florida high school.
What is the Gold Seal Scholarship?
A state scholarship which pays 75% of tuition and fees to a public institution
What GPA must I do to earn the scholarship?
- Maintain a 3.5 GPA in three consecutive vocational/IT classes
- Maintain a 3.0(weighted) GPA in 15.5 core credits
What required credits do I have to earn?

Do I have to complete community service?
- No community service is required.
What test scores do I have to achieve?
- On the SAT, you must earn a 440 for Verbal and a 440 for Math. (or)
- On the ACT, you must earn a 17 on English, 18 on Reading, and 19 on Math. (or)
- On the CPT (College Placement Test), you must earn an 83 on Reading, 83 on Sentence Skills, and 72 in Algebra.
